From the world's seashores...[De pe ţărmurile lumii...] - Veronica Micle
added by: Octavian

From the world's unchanging seashores clouds rise daily to the sky,
But on its serene expanses no fog stays to meet the eye,
Blows the wind, away are driven, some still linger here and there,
Until all their vagrant pathways fade and vanish in the air.

Day and night the wind is blowing, there's a tempest in my chest,
And my bitter thoughts come quickly and they never are at rest,
In my soul they all take shelter, do not want to go away,
Now I'm sad, I'll be tomorrow, and I was sad yesterday.
